With the majority of the fixes being mechanic heavy, I decided to pour my efforts into cleaning up the few UI comments we’d received, along with adding some new levels to the game which expands what was quite a tight demo of what the full experience would normally be for a roguelike deckbuilder.


Myself and David are very satisfied with this project. While it’s evolved as all games should, we used this opportunity to bring together ideas that were mutually interesting and fun for us. Taking all of that madness and bringing it to a community of gamers that could have easily eaten us alive (pun intended). But standing next to our game at the show, and hearing the encouragement from all around. It’s the exact proof of concept we needed to push ourselves to actively develop this post graduation.
So watch this space, Barnaby’s Boat will set sail in the future.
